 Peach Habañero Sticky Chicken Wings


  • 2 lbs. Chicken wings

  • 1 cup Lu Austin's Peach Habañero Jam

  • 2 TBS. Cider Vinegar

  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. Dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove minced


1. Cut off and discard chicken wings' tips. Cut each wing in half at the joint. Place in large plastic bag.

2. Combine the Peach Habañero Jam, cider vinegar, mustard and garlic. Mixing well to break the jam down.

3. Pour 1/2 of the sauce in the plastic bag with the chicken wings and seal. Marinate at least 1 hour. Better flavor results if you marinade overnight. Refrigerate remaining sauce to use for dipping when served.

4. Remove wings from bag. Place chicken wings on a cookie sheet in a 400° degree oven. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes basting with the remaining sauce frequently to build a coating up. Remove from oven. Place the wings on platter immediately and let stand for 5 minutes so the sticky sauce sets up. Serve with any remaining sauce.
